Election Thank
You
 |
"I would like to thank
everyone who worked so
diligently on the 2008 election
and helped to get out the union
vote! For everyone involved in
the Labor 2008 GOTV canvasses
and phone banks, distributing
worksite flyers at jobsites and
union meetings, or helping with
mailings may I extend my sincere
gratitude. Special thanks to
Mary Ellen Ponder Labor 2008
Zone 1 Coordinator for her
tireless hard work. Mary Ellen,
along with Jan and John Tune,
and Bill Otto who primarily
worked out of the Labor Council
office, worked diligently for
months to get this job done.
Thank you also to
anyone who
gave of their time to help us in
this important endeavor. I
applaud you all and thank you
for your hard work! Your
efforts have paid off! You have
helped the Democratic party move
forward and ultimately have
given unions hope for the
future."
